great staff but room cleanliness was inconsistent
The staff were friendly and greeted us warmly with thoughtful gifts. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the hospitality suite, which was perfect for relaxing after a busy day.
The room cleanliness was not up to par. we noticed some areas were overlooked.

The hospitality here is outstanding, highlighted by thoughtful welcome and departure gifts. The fresh wood-fired pizza at the coffee shop was a delightful surprise. However, the rooms, while clean, could benefit from a bit more attention to detail in maintenance, and the lobby felt crowded at times, which detracted from the overall ambiance. The activities provided during our stay created a warm, community feel.

We stayed in a Deluxe King Room and it was pretty nice overall. The room was clean and had a comfy bed. The large bathroom was a great feature! However, the windows were small, which made the lake view not as impressive as expected. Sometimes, it felt a bit cramped with all the furniture. Still, it was nice to have it cleaned quickly! Enjoyed the quiet vibe too.

Our stay was fantastic! The room was a Deluxe King Room, spacious, with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff went above and beyond, offering us a welcome gift and constant attentive service. The food at the Hawkeye Grill was top-notch, especially the chocolate stout cake.
The only downside was that the checkout process was slightly rushed.

Our stay in the Deluxe King Room was really enjoyable. The room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and a private bathroom. The cheerful staff offered a welcome gift, and the food at the Hawkeye Grill was exceptional, especially the chocolate stout cake. The fitness center and outdoor swimming pool added to the relaxing experience.

A Relaxing Getaway with Stunning Views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the cozy back porch with the fire pit, perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The chef's omelets made mornings delightful. Don't miss the complimentary cookies and tea in the afternoon! Pro tip, plan ahead for your parking as the walk can be lengthy in bad weather.
